Jean-Michel Basquiat was an american artist (1960-1988). He began his career by selling self made postcards of his artwork and creating graffiti sayings all around New York. By the age of 20, he was very accomplished artist, who was well known withing the art arena of New York.
Collage with many images and words, is main feature of Jean Michel's art. He also included cartoons and comic characters in his paintings.
