The red balloon 1956

Red Balloon is a 34 minute film directed by Albert Lamorisse. The plot is simple- One day, on the way to school little boy called Pascal meets a red balloon. Soon Pascal discovers that the balloon can understand him. They become inseparable, wandering around the streets of Paris. The balloon draws attention of a group of bullies and soon they destroy it. In the ending scene of the movie, all the balloons of Paris come together to Pascal and take him for balloon ride over the city.
The movie won numerous awards, including an Oscar for best original screenplay in 1956.
The red balloon almost does not have narrative, but I think any dialog would ruin it. It's a really beautiful and sweet movie.
