working at home

For me, working from home is the best way I could work. I love everything about it, overdose of breaks with or without food, spontaneous early finish ups or late night working days.
Still have to design my home office, empty room is awaiting me.
Here are some spaces that I like.

1950s lighting

When I look at these products, I feel so inspired all I want to do is sketch all day and come up with something worth designing. It is unbelievable when design pieces like these, designed so many years ago, still look current, people still admire and get inspiration from them.
They are simply timeless.

homemade lamp

Lovely table lamp, assembled all by Nimi Design. She did it all by herself, the lampshade is from Ikea, the rest of the lamp is from hardware store. She also did the concrete base herself, molding it into the Ikea plastic basket.
Great example of creating a new product from already existing materials.
It looks amazing!
