Serge Mouille

Serge Mouille and his lacquered metal lighting fixtures is an example how it's better to create few but good quality, timeless things. In the world of product design, there are few products that reach to this level, but they are truly sufficient.
This lamp is simply CLASSIC and IMMORTAL!

My Imaginary Apartment - Kitchen

It's been a while already, that I'm visualizing my new imaginary apartment. I thought about every slightest detail- the style, materials, colors, textures, finishes..
I've been collecting some sources as references. Today, I will start with kitchens and will share with you the concepts that I'm fond of and ideally, the kitchen that I will finally design will be mixture of these extracted elements.

Raft Table and Stool by Norm Architects for &tradition

I fell in love with Danish manufacturer &tradition, after Benjamin Hubert designed spinning lights for them. This time, Norm architects designed Raft table and stool for &tradition.
Lacquered steel with legs of sandblasted solid oak or black stained ash. Top in sandblasted solid oak, white laminate or black ash laminate.

Natura Morta by Studio Toogood at Erastudio Apartment Gallery

Interior design and styling studio based in London- Toogood collaborated with food and design collective Arabeschi di Latte to serve black food to guest at midnight dinners in Erastudio apartment gallery, located in Milan. Waitresses wore perspex headpieces designed by Faye Toogood with milliner Zara Gorman and food included cheese served on coal, burned artichokes, bread dyed with squid ink and eggs cooked in black tea.
Walls were covered with drawings by Italian artist Piero Fornasetti and still life images of the food by photographer Marius W. Hansen.
