Yigal Azrouël- Fall 2011
Yigal Azrouël is an New York based, Israeli American fashion designer. In 1998 he launched his first collection in NYC. I love his fall 2011 women's collection, it's feminine yet quite strict. I adore the color choices. The menswear inspired outwear is my favorite part of the collection.

After graduating from Italy and moving back to Tbilisi, Georgia, it became clear to me that the field of product design was close to being non-existent. The passion, which I was full of initially, soon started to wear off as I realized that I had no concrete plan of how to go about raising awareness of product design among Georgians.
My attitude was bound to change when I discovered ROOMS, a company I had never heard before. I can recall my first impression of amazement when I realized that decent Georgian design actually exists! This is when I knew I wanted to work for ROOMS. In March 2010, I approached Nata and Keti and asked them whether they were interested in my candidacy. This is how my career started at the company. Product design is at such a young stage in Georgia, that I could easily describe it in a single word: ROOMS.
With Moooi presenting Position lamp by Rooms as part of its collection this year, success of ROOMS is on the verge of flying high. I have a strong belief that despite of all the obstacles, with passion, talent, will and hard work, dreams do come true.
Wherever life takes me next, I will always be proud that I have played a part in ROOMS stories. I hope that soon ROOMS will be proud that I was part of it too.
So, here is new collection by Rooms.
Mirror "YOU"- ” has a versatile function. The position of the mirror can be easily changed by pushing, pulling or rotating. It can be used in bathrooms, living rooms, bedrooms, public spaces and many various interiors.

The idea of the table came from a playful the approach towards the experimentation with wood. Enjoy the table by changing it's function and look.

Waste Land
Waste Land- filmed for over three years, follows the journey of the Brooklyn based Brazilian artist Vik Muniz as he explores the world's largest garbage dump, Jardim Gramacho which is located near Rio de Janeiro. He photographs "catadores"- group of self designated pickers of recyclable materials. The photographic images out of garbage tells the story about these characters, as they begin to re-imagine their lives.

Barbican Foodhall by SHH
The Barbican is London based Europe's largest arts and conference center, presenting diverse range of art including music, theater, dance and film.
Shh redesigned the ground floor restaurant of Barbican under the new name of Barbican food hall. SHH retained the original architecture of the space, outlining the concrete structured ceiling and used Cradley brick pavers for the flooring.
